B Orthodontics adds KLOwen custom digital braces in Yorba Linda

B Orthodontics in Yorba Linda is now offering KLOwen Custom Digital Braces, a fully digital braces system that uses 3D scans and customized brackets for comprehensive and Phase 2 treatment. The move gives patients and parents a preview of treatment before it starts and extends the practice’s shift toward digital orthodontics.

Why it matters: - KLOwen Custom Digital Braces give B Orthodontics a more precise, fully digital option for braces treatment. - The system is designed for teen and adult patients who need comprehensive care or Phase 2 orthodontic treatment. - Patients and parents can see the treatment plan before braces are placed, which may make care easier to understand.

What happened: - B Orthodontics, led by board-certified orthodontist Dr. Anita Bhavnani, now offers KLOwen Custom Digital Braces in Yorba Linda. - The system begins with a 3D digital scan and a personalized digital treatment plan. - Each patient receives custom brackets available in metal or clear. - The practice says consultations and virtual assessments are available now. - Appointments can be scheduled at More information or by calling 714.777.4080.

The details: - With KLOwen, Dr. Bhavnani uploads a patient’s scan and places each bracket on a digital model of the teeth. - Computer simulation previews how that bracket placement will move each tooth. - KLOwen then designs indirect bonding trays from the digital setup. - The trays transfer the brackets to the patient’s teeth in the planned positions. - KLOwen brackets are customized in torque and tip, which are the angle and tilt built into each tooth’s movement. - Those settings are based on the patient’s tooth positions and the movement Dr. Bhavnani has planned. - The approach supports both straightforward and complex cases. - For extraction cases, Dr. Bhavnani designs the extraction plan digitally, and the custom brackets help guide closure of the extraction space. - Patients still come in for scheduled wire changes and adjustments and wear elastics as directed. - B Orthodontics already uses 3D iCAT Flex imaging, intraoral scanners and clear aligner treatment. - The practice is located at 4915 Yorba Ranch Road, Suite A, Yorba Linda, CA 92887. - B Orthodontics, formerly Sorenson and Bhavnani Orthodontics, has served Yorba Linda and North Orange County since 1985. - Dr. Bhavnani is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. - The practice says it has a 5.0 Google rating across more than 600 reviews.

Between the lines: - The addition of digitally planned braces puts bracket-based treatment closer to the workflow already used for clear aligners. - Dr. Bhavnani frames the change as a shift from chair-side bracket placement to preplanned digital positioning. - The practice is positioning digital tools as part of a broader effort to make orthodontic treatment more predictable and easier to explain to patients. - KLOwen Orthodontics was founded by orthodontist Dr. Brandon Owen, who received the first Ortho Innovator Award from the American Association of Orthodontists in 2019 for KLOwen custom brackets.

What's next: - B Orthodontics will offer KLOwen Custom Digital Braces for new patients seeking comprehensive or Phase 2 treatment. - The practice is likely to continue building on its digital workflow as it adds more planned, scan-based treatment tools. - Patients interested in treatment can book a consultation online or by phone.

The bottom line: - B Orthodontics is bringing custom bracket braces into its digital treatment stack, giving patients a more individualized option with a visible plan before treatment begins.
